MedStar Health — Georgetown University Hospital Foot & Ankle Research Fellowship

The MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Foot and Ankle Research Fellowship provides an unparalleled clinical opportunity with focused study on research design, implementation, and publication. There is rigorous training on medical and surgical foot and ankle reconstruction, with an emphasis on advanced limb salvage.

The fellow will be part of the clinical and research team within the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine. He or she will be actively involved with patient care, resident and student teaching, and ongoing research at Georgetown University Hospital, a world-class institution.

The fellow’s schedule offers great flexibility and opportunity for growth. Ultimately, each fellow is in charge of creating their own weekly schedule and maintaining a rigorous and stimulating curriculum. We recommend that the fellow place primary focus on quality foot and ankle research, augmented with both clinical and surgical experience.

The fellow will work closely with our highly respected faculty, all of whom are experts in the field of wound care and foot and ankle surgery.
