We are pleased to announce that we will be moving to a new system to record attendance for all Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS). Attendees can now receive immediate credit for attending any RSS conference that has been certified for CME credit by MedStar Washington Hospital Center. CME credit will appear instantly on the attendee’s transcript rather than transcripts being updated quarterly. Please note as of August 1, 2014, all activities will utilize this new system for recording attendance via a QR code.
In order to participate in this process, you must have a smart phone (iPhone or android) or device such as an iPad or tablet to download the app. Those attendees that do not have a smart phone or device will have to sign-in as usual on the sign-in sheet (signature is required). Please note, we must have your signature in order to issue you credit. No signature will result in credit not being issued for the conference. If an attendee does not have a smart phone or device, we will have additional information available before the August 30, 2014 deadline on how to utilize the check-in system without a smart phone or device.
Information was sent by email about the new check-in system to all RSS attendees Friday, June 20, 2014. They must read over the process and download the app via their smart phone or device. Please introduce the new check-in system at your next conference to make certain everyone is informed of the process. If you have any questions, please contact Yvonne Jackson 202 877-8574 or Mikki Ashin 301 365-9797.
