Brad Hall, CPA

Brad Hall, CPA, vice president of Finance and CFO of MedStar Medical Group (MMG), is responsible for managing all finance functions of the group. In this role, he oversees financial reporting, practice management economics, operating and capital budgeting, long range financial forecasting, performance benchmarking, physician compensation model design and management, and proforma development for practice acquisitions and facility initiatives.

Hall joined MMG in 2016 after spending 11 years with TriHealth, Inc., a unified health system based in Cincinnati, Ohio and one of the largest employers in that region. There, he most recently served as director of Finance for TriHealth Physician Services, a physician group. He was also chief financial officer for Group Health, a large multi-specialty practice within TriHealth.

Prior to that, Hall was chief financial officer of Cincinnati Group Health Associates, Inc., the largest physician-owned multispecialty practice in the Cincinnati, Ohio region. During his tenure, he was part of the executive team that successfully negotiated the sale of the practice to TriHealth.

His healthcare experience also includes several years with Morton Plant Mease Healthcare in Clearwater, Florida, a multi-hospital healthcare system, where he was director of accounting. In addition, he managed accounting for the Johnson Ezell Corporation in Clearwater, a company that owned and operated senior lifestyle communities. He started his career at Ernst & Young, CPAs, where he primarily worked with clients in the healthcare industry.

Hall holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Toledo, in Toledo, Ohio. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
