Sarma Singam, MD, is a cardiac intensivist at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. With training and experience in cardiology, echocardiography, and critical care, Dr. Singam has a focused approach to patient care, emphasizing heart failure, myocardial infarction, echocardiography techniques, and cardiogenic shock management.
In addition to clinical work, Dr. Singam is involved in research, particularly in developing clinical care registries for cardiac critical care. This work aims to improve patient management processes and outcomes.
