Stefanie Milner, MD
Dr. Stefanie Milner grew up in Rockville, MD. She attended undergrad at the University of Rochester, where she majored in Anthropology and learned about death and dying in different cultures (the first sign that Palliative Care was the path she would ultimately pursue) followed by medical school at the University of Maryland. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Loyola in the suburbs of Chicago, where she also served as a Chief Resident with a focus on Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. During her training she found purpose and fulfillment in being able to help patients and families navigate the challenges that come with severe illness and end of life. She is excited to learn more about the different facets of Palliative Care, learn from her inter-disciplinary colleagues, and continue to explore the overlapping fields of Palliative Care and Quality Improvement. Outside of the hospital she can be found hiking, playing volleyball, playing board games, and juggling.
