Current and former smokers are at risk of developing COPD. An important tool in preventing and managing COPD is smoking cessation as approximately 75% of COPD deaths are attributed to cigarette smoking. Clinical pharmacists will share information about medication treatments available to aid in quitting as well as tips for managing COPD and using inhalers. There will be time at the end for a Q&A session.
