Dr. Khanna earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Georgetown University and the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is a dual-trained spine surgeon with background and expertise in both neurosurgical and orthopaedic spine surgery. His orthopedic surgery residency training was completed at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and his spine surgery fellowship was at the Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute in the Departments of Orthopedic Surgery and Neurosurgery.
He is an active member of numerous medical societies including the North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and has written several books and published more than 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters on a range of topics in spine and orthopedic surgery.
