Alexander S. Andrews, MD, is an attending physician in MedStar Georgetown University Hospital’s Division of Pediatric Neurology. Dr. Andrews’ area of clinical interests includes refractory epilepsy, quantitative EEG methods in the critical care setting, health equity, and health literacy.
Dr. Andrews has been published in several prestigious publications including Experimental Brain Research and The Yale Journal of Public Health. Over the past 10 years, he has volunteered for reputable causes such as Community for Children, a border medicine elective in Texas, and assisted in the creation of the University of Michigan Student-Run Free Clinic. He is also fluent in Spanish and is a certified Spanish interpreter.
