About the Provider

Arthur Kobrine, MD, is world-renowned as a trauma neurosurgeon for his role in saving the life of James Brady -- press secretary to President Ronald Reagan -- after a traumatic brain injury from being shot during an assassination attempt on the President's life. Following the successful surgery, Dr. Kobrine shared his experience and expertise by lecturing in the US and all over the world, also winning multiple awards.

Board-certified in neurosurgery and widely published, Dr. Kobrine specializes in brain and spine surgery with a longstanding research interest in the blood flow and response to trauma of the spine and central nervous system. Now dedicated exclusively to patient care, he treats brain and spine tumors and performs spinal reconstruction and craniotomies. His goal is to make people better in all the ways possible in order to achieve improvements in health and restore patient quality of life.
