Scott M. Katzen, MD is board certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology. Since completion of his training in 2010, Dr. Katzen has specialized in diagnosing and managing a multitude of conditions including valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, and atherosclerotic heart disease. In addition, he regularly performs cardiac catheterization procedures and percutaneous coronary interventions.
Dr. Katzen currently serves as the medical director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Anne Arundel Medical Center, which is considered one of the busiest designated chest pain centers within the state of Maryland. His specific scope of care includes both management and prevention of ischemic heart disease as well as treatment in the emergent setting.
Dr. Katzen strives to provide comprehensive and thorough cardiovascular medical care. He forms immediate partnerships with his patients that result in long-lasting relationships over time. He personally works with patients to optimize their cardiovascular health – allowing them to live life to the fullest.
