About the Provider

Susan Early Otero, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She has been practicing and building her strong reputation as a plastic surgeon for over 20 years.

Dr. Otero specializes in reconstructive breast surgery and sternal wound complications. She sees patients for reconstructive surgery, wounds of any kind, including pressure sores and postoperative sternal wound complications after heart surgery.

Dr. Otero received her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine. She then completed her internship program at The George Washington University Hospital before completing her fellowship as well as her residency training at the Nassau University Medical Center.

Dr. Otero takes an aggressive approach to treating and healing sternal wounds and sternal wound complications. Her technique provides her patients an improved ability to heal.
