The Clinician Scholar track is the more traditional residency track that trains residents to become practicing neurologists. Clinician scholars will benefit from the NIH collaboration by having the opportunity to do research at the NIH during their elective time. In addition, this residency track offers residents the opportunity to get involved with research, either in the Department of Neurology or in one of the affiliated labs at Georgetown University Medical Center.
