COVID-19 Update: Georgetown University School of Medicine/MedStar Health will NOT be accepting visiting students during the 2020-21 academic year, per national guidelines, with very limited exceptions, as follows:
If the student does not have access to a desired specialty rotation within their own medical school system AND the Georgetown University School of Medicine/MedStar Health System is one of the closest geographical access points (in which case, October would be the earliest opening).
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Department of Urology will NOT be offering a virtual course for credit during the 2020-21 academic year.
In accordance with the guidelines in place by the Georgetown University School of Medicine and the Society of Academic Urology, we will be participating in a virtual residency recruitment process. We invite any 4th year medical student interested in our urology residency program to participate in our many virtual opportunities. We will be holding Hoya Happy Hours throughout the summer and fall to give applicants a sense of our program, faculty, and current residents.
