Elizabeth Bierbower, MD

Georgetown University School of Medicine

I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. I received my undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in Economics with a minor in Health Policy. After graduating from college, I moved to the Washington, DC area and worked for a healthcare consulting firm. After working for several years, I decided to obtain a Masters degree in Physiology from Georgetown University and then went on to attend Georgetown University School of Medicine. I loved my experience in medical school and was thrilled to stay for my Internal Medicine Residency. I plan to pursue a career in Cardiology. Outside of medicine I enjoy hiking, camping, gardening, cooking and exploring the DC food scene.
