Become an ICU Nurse with our Critical Care Fellowship

  • Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuroscience ICU, and PACU
  • Four-month program including: one-on-one preceptorship and Essentials of Critical
  • Care Orientation (American Association of Critical Care Nurses)
  • For nurses with two years of hospital-based inpatient experience
  • Offered twice per year in February and November

Become an IMC Nurse with our Intermediate Care Fellowship

  • Medical-Surgical Vascular/Hepatology IMC, Medical-Surgical Thoracic IMC, Medical-Surgical IMC, and Neurotelemetry and Stroke Unit
  • Eight-week program including: personalized orientation schedule, Essentials of Critical Care Orientation 3.0 Progressive Care Nurse (American Association of Critical Care Nurses), specialty classes, EKG interpretation training, and Megacode training
  • For nurses with two years of hospital-based inpatient experience

Become a Procedural Nurse

  • Interventional Radiology (IR) and Procedural Cath Lab
  • Ten-week program including personalized orientation and one-on-one preceptorship
  • Care for patients undergoing invasive procedures or receiving sedation
  • IR Nurses cross-trained to CT and MRI
  • Cath Lab Nurses cross-trained to Peripheral Vascular procedures, Coronary/Device implant/Electrophysiology Studies, Bronchoscopies, and Bone Marrow Collections
  • For nurses with two years of hospital-based critical care experience (ICU, ED or PACU)

Specialize in Oncology

  • Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center Infusion Unit
  • Clinical Trials Infusion Center and Standard of Care Infusion Center
  • Three-month program including personalized orientation, one-on-one preceptorship, and ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Course
  • For nurses with two years of hospital-based experience

Become a Pediatrics, NICU or Perinatal Nurse

  • General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
  • Pediatric Transplant Unit, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Level IIIC Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and Baby Friendly-Designated Labor and Delivery and Mother-Baby Units
  • Eight-week to three-month program including personalized orientation, one-on-one preceptorship, and specialty classes
  • For nurses with two years of hospital-based experience
