Annie Parker, BSN, RN is the Director of Nurse Recruitment and Retention at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Annie began her professional career at MedStar Georgetown during her baccalaureate nursing program at Georgetown University, working with the families of surgical patients. Following graduation, Annie worked as a nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. She joined the Nurse Recruitment and Retention team in 2008 and was promoted to her current role in 2013. Throughout her career, Annie has helped over 1,000 nurses achieve professional satisfaction by matching them with the right opportunities. She is a dedicated leader, committed to improving retention and engaging top nursing talent throughout MedStar Health. Annie feels a deep-rooted connection to the hospital and the community we serve—she was even born right here at MedStar Georgetown.
