Nargiz Muganlinskaya, MD, MMS, FACP is the Associate Program Director at MedStar Health Internal Medicine Residency, Baltimore and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University. Her research interest focuses on clinical reasoning and diagnostic errors in medicine, innovative approach in academic and clinical medical education, and mentoring for a successful career in medicine.
Dr. Muganlinskaya is recognized for her work in clinical and educational fields. She was a recipient of the Early Career Physician award presented by American College of Physicians in 2018 and was also named Top Doc by Baltimore Magazine in the same year. She currently serves as council member at Maryland Chapter of American College of Physicians.
In her role as a medical educator, she has led and mentored numerous projects, including Nationwide Survey of Internal Medicine residencies on Faculty Development opportunities, and projects on reducing diagnostic error via educating internal medicine physicians-in-training at MedStar Health and Johns Hopkins Bayview Internal Medicine residency programs.
Dr. Muganlinskaya earned a medical degree from Azerbaijan State Medical University and a master’s degree in medical science from Saint Francis University, PA. She completed her training in Internal Medicine at MedStar Health Internal Medicine Residency.
