Dr. Selinger graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1979. He did his Internal Medicine training and Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was subsequently Assistant Chief of Service and Faculty Member in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Division.
Dr. Selinger was the Director of the ICU and Chief of Pulmonary at Medstar Good Samaritan Hospital between 1987 and 1995. He was one of two founders of Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates of Baltimore in 1995. He has been Director of Critical Care Services at Medstar Franklin Square Medical Center since 1995, and Chairman of the Department of Medicine since July 2015.
