Stacey Gonzalez currently serves as Program Manager for the Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety: The Telluride Experience (TTE), 4-day intensive workshops that convene resident physicians, medical students, nursing students, and health science/pharmacy students to focus on patient safety concepts and the application of quality and safety improvement strategies and techniques. In this role, she is responsible for planning and implementing multiple TTE sessions per year across the United States as well as managing faculty and learner communication, participant onboarding, and alumni connections.
Stacey joined MedStar Health in 2009, and has experience leading and managing multiple systemwide projects, such as the inaugural mandatory influenza vaccination campaign, the establishment of Patient and Family Advisory Councils for Quality and Safety (PFACQS) at all MedStar hospitals and regionally among MedStar Ambulatory Services, and various other Quality and Safety improvement and education initiatives.
Stacey graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish.
