Desiree Monroe, MBA, SHRM-SCP is the manager of human resources for MedStar Health Research Institute and MedStar Diversified Businesses. In this role, she is responsible for the strategic HR operations, including workforce planning, talent development, and associate engagement for over 1,000 associates within MedStar Health’s distributive care delivery network.
Desiree has over 12 years of experience in HR and leadership, including both healthcare and retail management. She is also a Society of Human Resources Management - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Prior to joining MedStar, she served as an HR Business Partner for the University of Maryland Medical System. Desiree received her Bachelor's in Management from Salisbury University Perdue School of Business and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
