Ms. Sheehan is a Research Associate at the MedStar National Center for Human Factors in Healthcare and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Northeastern University. Her unique background in clinical work and public health has allowed her to apply her experience to the Human Factors team and their projects. Past research experience has included clinical outcomes research, public health, and program development projects. She currently supports multiple projects as a research assistant including Dr. Miller’s study funded by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information and Technology working to better understand the landscape of health research tools and the utilization of FHIR technology in health research, Dr. Ratwani’s patient safety R01 project, and Dr. Ratwani’s collaborative multisite telehealth R01.
