Ram Dixit

Ram is a human factors specialist at the MedStar Health National Center for Human Factors in Healthcare. He holds a bachelor’s degree in cognitive science from the University of California, San Diego and a master’s degree in biomedical informatics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, providing expertise in these fields to support the Center's research and development projects. His research interests are broadly in understanding the cognitive needs of patients and caregivers, gaining insight into the mechanisms that underlie or mediate them, and using these insights to develop humane health information systems.
