Before joining the MedStar Health National Center for Human Factors in Healthcare, Tracy conducted research on risk and resilience in low-income communities and worked in various behavioral and mental health settings. She has a growing passion for applied research and understanding the human mind and behaviors in relation to provider workflow, team performance, and the implementation of system processes to optimize healthcare delivery. Leveraging her past experiences, Tracy serves as a member of the Academy Health Behavioral Health Services Research Interest Group’s advisory committee. Tracy holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and plans to pursue a graduate degree in industrial and organizational psychology. She loves to try new recipes in the kitchen, travel, and play tennis.
