In addition, our research engine, Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, the region’s only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, gives patients access to breakthrough treatments and clinical trials in cancer care. Support services
A no-cost, whole family care program for parents with cancer, offered at MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
When a parent has cancer, Family Circle is here to help. The program supports parents going through treatment for cancer, as well as their families.
A no-cost program for parents with cancer and helps support them, their cancer caregivers, and children (ages 0-21) across the family’s cancer journey.
As part of the program, families will have the opportunity to receive education and counseling to navigate conversations with children about cancer, manage stress and strengthen coping, and enhance their parenting skills in the context of cancer.
