Aaron Piccirilli is the vice president of Philanthropy at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. With 338 licensed beds and a team of 2,488 medical and administrative professionals, MedStar Franklin Square is Maryland's one of the largest hospitals in the MedStar Health system.
Aaron oversees all philanthropy initiatives within the hospital in addition to his system role as vice president of philanthropy initiatives for the MedStar Institute for Quality and Safety, MedStar Sports Medicine and MedStar Institute for Innovation (Mi2), and MedStar Sports Medicine.
Prior to joining MedStar Health in 2011, Aaron served as president of the Piccirilli Group, Inc, a full-service marketing and advertising agency. Started in 1969, by his father Charles Piccirilli, Piccirilli Group, Inc. served national Fortune 500 companies to smaller local start-up businesses. The company later became a leader in web development and online marketing. During his tenure, the agency was ranked by the Baltimore Business Journal as Top 25 Largest Ad Agencies, the Top 25 Largest Web Design Firms, and the Top 25 Largest Graphic Design Firms in Baltimore.
Aaron is currently a member of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Aaron has a bachelor's degree from the Franciscan University of Steubenville.
