Yvonne L. Ottaviano, MD, is Director of Breast Oncology at The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Cancer Institute at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore. She also is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and a Staff Oncologist at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.
Dr. Ottaviano is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and also is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, serves on the institutional review board of MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, and is Director of Cancer Conferences at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center.
Dr. Ottaviano is widely published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Nature Genetics, and Clinical Cancer Research. She is a frequent lecturer on breast cancer and bone metastases.
Dr. Ottaviano graduated magna cum laude with an MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
