Senior Vice President, Marketing and Strategy
Kevin P. Kowalski is senior vice president of Marketing and Strategy for MedStar Health. In this role, Kowalski serves as the chief brand steward for MedStar, overseeing strategic planning, marketing, public affairs and digital strategy.
With nearly 30 years experience in Marketing and Brand Management, Kowalski is focused on building MedStar’s already strong patient and customer relationships, geographic footprint and culture of innovation. The majority of his career has been in senior brand management roles in the hospitality industry with InterContinental Hotels Group. These roles included leading all seven brands as the senior vice president of Global Brand Management as well as leading the Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza brands.
Most recently, Kowalski served as chief marketing officer with The ServiceMaster Company, leading growth strategy for its largest business unit, Terminix. Additionally, Kowalski's career included time at The Coca Cola Company in brand management roles for Sprite, Barq’s and Minute Maid juices.
Kowalski earned his bachelor’s degree in economics at Northwestern University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
