Free Mental Health Family Support Group
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) offers a new, peer-led support group to family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness.
Group members can gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances. The support group follows a structured model to ensure everyone has an opportunity to be heard. Peer facilitators encourage empathy, guide productive discussion and foster a sense of community. The group is open to any adult family member or caregiver.
The Support Group meets every Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Conference Room A.
