Join our online health and lifestyle training program.
Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 8 a.m., MedStar Harbor Hospital is offering a free, online 12-month lifestyle change program designed to help prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. Participants will learn to make lasting lifestyle changes, such as eating healthier, adding physical activity into their daily routine, and improving coping skills. This program is held weekly during the first 16 weeks of the program, then monthly for the remainder of the year. Participants work at their own pace and have up to 7 days to complete each module.
Participants must have access to a computer, smart phone, or mobile app, and have an active email address for this online program. A web link will then be forwarded to participants prior to the start of the program. Registration is limited to 30 people, so sign up now below!
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must not be diagnosed with diabetes
- Must be overweight
- At risk for Type 2 diabetes; have been diagnosed with prediabetes; or been previously diagnosed with gestational diabetes
