Power to Heal Fund Initiatives

Our campaign focus is to support, enhance, and sustain a selection of patient experience initiatives. In collaboration with leadership and the Power to Heal Campaign Committees, we have developed specific initiatives that will benefit the patient and family care experience at our entities.

Below are the patient experience initiatives chosen across the system.

System-Level Initiatives

Commitments to MedStar Health will support the implementation of the Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) System to control pain for a variety of chronic joint and/or muscular pain syndromes. The system does not replace the need for pain medicine, but will reduce the amount of medicine needed for relief. It eases patient’s comfort during the healing process.
