My husband and I are incredibly fortunate to have Elizabeth Selden as our primary care doctor. Now with Telehealth appointments, the old days of having family doctors make house calls has returned. Her knowledgable, compassionate, gentle care is exceptional. She heals both body and spirit during these pandemic days.

Thank you to Dr. Rosen, Dr. Joyner, the residents, and nurses for helping during my thyroidectomy and recovery. The last two years dealing with Graves Disease have been a nightmare for my family and I, and it was comforting to have everyone looking out for me while undergoing my very first surgery. Also wanted to give a heartfelt thank you to the nurses from PreOp thru the day I was discharged for taking care of me. I never once felt like I was left to fend for myself or that I wasn't heard. And given how the world perhaps has made folks like me be a bit cynical, seeing the level of care and commitment exhibited by everyone at MedStar Washington honestly made me believe there are indeed good people in the world. Thank you all again for the care and I will always think of you all and hope everyone will be kept out of harm's way until this pandemic is under control.
