MedStar Health Institute for Quality and Safety to Host 6th Annual Crouse Patient Safety Lecture

Columbia, MD — MedStar Health Institute for Quality and Safety will host the 6th Annual Crouse Patient Safety Lecture on Oct. 2 at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. The event will mark the 20^th anniversary of the groundbreaking report, “To Err Is Human: Building a Safer Health System” which was issued in November 1999 by the U.S. Institute of Medicine and resulted in increased awareness of U.S. medical errors and a need for improved patient safety.
