Mika Standard, CFRE, FCEP, is vice president and chief philanthropy officer at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. As a key member of the Center Executive Team, Mika partners closely with the hospital president and senior leadership to foster proactive relationships with board members and major philanthropic partners to advance strategic priorities.

Prior to her role at MedStar Health, Mika held philanthropy positions at several notable hospitals such as senior director of development at Children’s National Hospital, director of development at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and interim executive director of development at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University and Hospitals in Philadelphia.

Mika holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and double minors in art history and studio art from Bucknell University. She brings additional experience in high-net-worth wealth management as a former financial advisor at UBS and PaineWebber Financial Services. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), a Fellow in Charitable Estate Planning (FCEP), and holds a certification in Venture Capital from the Wharton School Executive Education Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
