Applicant Information for Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship

The NPM Fellowship Program at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital participates in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) sanctioned "Match" and uses the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) as the common platform for Fellowship recruitment. Please visit the ERAS website for information and timelines.

The AAP ONTPD website also provides useful information and links to ERAS and the NMRP. Click on "Fellowship Applicants" on the website.

Candidates must provide a curriculum vitae and letters of recommendation from their Pediatric Residency Program Director, and two or more other faculty members, including at least one from the NICU, who have worked with them during the past two years. We also request a written personal statement.

International Medical School graduates should provide a copy of the ECFMG certificate. MedStar Georgetown University Hospital does not support H1 visa applications, but will support J1 visa applications for international medical graduates.

Candidates are encouraged to visit the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital for personal interviews with members of faculty and to meet with current Fellows.
