Dr. Cameron received her doctoral degree in Health Education from the University of Maryland at College Park. As a health educator she specializes in health behavior and health communications. Prior to joining our faculty she taught women's health and personal and community health courses at two metropolitan area colleges. Her research interests include women's emotional health and health behavior change.

Douglas Kamerow, MD, MPH

Dr. Kamerow, a professor of clinical family medicine at Georgetown, graduated from the University of Rochester (NY) School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Highland Hospital in Rochester. He received a Master's Degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and is board-certified both in family medicine and in general preventive medicine and public health. After serving 20 years in the U.S. Public Health Service, Dr. Kamerow retired as an Assistant Surgeon General in 2001. He is now a chief scientist at Research Triangle Institute in Washington, a regular columnist for the global medical journal BMJ, and the author of a new book, Dissecting American Health Care.

Dr. Lawrence graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and received her Family Medicine residency training at the Georgetown/Providence program. Ms. Wallace is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received her master's degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resources. Ms. Wallace has a long standing commitment to resident education, and has managed the residency program for almost 20 years.

Caroline Wellbery, MD, PhD

Dr. Wellbery's duties are divided among resident and medical student teaching and serving as the Assistant Deputy Editor for The American Family Physician. She received her medical degree from the University of California in San Francisco, completed her residency training in Santa Rosa, California and received her PhD in Comparative Literature from Stanford University. Her interests include writing, languages and a broad array of medical topics.
