Barbara Klett, BSN, RN has been a Nurse Recruiter with MedStar Health since 2001 and has worked continuously at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital since 2006. Before joining MedStar, Barbara worked for many years as a clinical nurse and a nurse manager in numerous other healthcare settings. In her current role, Barbara recruits and hires student nurse technicians, new graduate nurses, LPNs, experienced nurses, nurse leaders, and nurse practitioners to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Additionally, she has managed the successful recruitment of over 100 international nurses. Barbara works closely with hiring managers to find candidates that meet MedStar Georgetown’s mission of cura personalis, and to place nurses in positions that advance them to the next step in their career. She received her BSN from The Catholic University of America.
