Located just behind the main hospital building, the St. Mary’s Outpatient Pavilion houses our Cancer Care & Infusion Services, Outpatient Imaging Center, Health Connections, and Specialty Physicians at St. Mary’s. Opened in 2011, the two-story building is beautifully designed and offers a wide range of services and leading-edge technologies to better serve patients promptly and conveniently.
The following services are available in the St. Mary’s Outpatient Pavilion:
Cancer Care & Infusion Services
- Offers 11 total treatment bays including two private isolation rooms for patient safety
- Soothing garden and patio landscape view
- Patient Library
- Nutrition Bar
- State-of-the-art dedicated pharmacy and pharmacist
Outpatient Imaging and Women's Health Services
Services devoted primarily to diagnostic imaging in this facility include:
- 1.5 Tesla MRI
- 20 Slice CT Scanner
- PET/CT Scanner (mobile)
- Radiology/Fluoroscopy Systems
Note: Nuclear medicine and inpatient imaging continue to be conducted in the main hospital building
Women's Health Services maintains a separate suite of rooms within Outpatient Imaging

Specialty Physicians at St. Mary's
This Specialty Physicians suite includes three offices for visiting physicians, nine exam rooms and two procedure rooms. MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, MedStar Washington Hospital Center and our other MedStar Health partners utilize this space on a rotating basis to bring high-quality care closer to home.

MedStar Washington Hospital Center Colorectal Surgery colon and rectal surgeon
MedStar Washington Hospital Center Surgical Services general surgeon
Children’s National Medical Center pediatric cardiologist
Dr. Kristin Burns is available to see patients in the Outpatient Pavilion every other Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital pediatric endocrinologists
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital pediatric neurologist and sleep specialist
Dr. Temitayo Oyegbile is available to see new patients in the Outpatient Pavilion the first Tuesday of every month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
