Gregory Guyton, MD

Fellowship Program Director

Dr. Guyton joined GCOA and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in the summer of 2002. A graduate of Harvard Medical School, he completed a residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and a foot and ankle fellowship under the direction of Dr. Roger Mann in Oakland, CA. Prior to joining MedStar Union Memorial, Dr. Guyton was part of the foot and ankle program at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

Stuart Miller, MD

Educational Associate Director, Attending Physician

Dr. Miller received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Henry Ford Hospital. Following his fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, he was asked to join the practice of the physicians who trained him - GCOA.

Jacob Wisbeck, MD

Program Evaluation Committee Chairman, Attending Physician

Dr. Wisbeck actively participates in teaching residents and fellows in the office, the classroom, and in the operating room. Fellows participate in his research endeavors ranging from testing new orthopedic technology to clinical outcomes studies.

Walter C. Hembree, MD

Attending Physician

Walter C. Hembree, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, fellowship trained in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Hembree sees patients at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, MedStar Harbor Hospital, and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. After graduating from Duke University School of Medicine, he completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center and his fellowship at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. In addition, he is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He is board certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
