Interests within Family Medicine: global health, health capacity development, medical education
Why I chose Georgetown/Providence Family Medicine: For me it boils down to a gut feeling on interview day. I knew going in that the program had diverse clinical offerings, Georgetown faculty and resources, and is centrally located in a city that can fulfill my interests in global health and development. Once I met the staff and fellow residents, I knew this place was a great personal fit as well. All the residents seem to get along, all had interesting lives outside of work, and there is a real diversity in backgrounds and points of view. Most importantly, the faculty is engaged, supportive, and the residency takes care of its residents. It was a no brainer.
Hobbies: Cooking, exploring DC’s food scene, singing/music, traveling, movies, reading architecture & design magazines, naps in the park.
