Jasmine Bishop

Jasmine has dedicated her career to the field of telehealth and is passionate about the numerous ways to use technological and process innovations to improve patients' health and experience. Jasmine joined the MedStar Institute for Innovation team in 2022 as the managing director for the MedStar Telehealth Innovation Center.

Prior to MedStar Health, Jasmine led the telehealth department at MaineHealth where her team founded eConsults services, a remote patient monitoring program for chronic disease, a Project ECHO program, and initiated systemwide video-based care across the acute and ambulatory patient care settings. Earlier in her career, Jasmine designed telehealth programs, built and implemented digital health technology, and trained hundreds of clinicians for healthcare sites across California, working first with Telemedicine.com and later with the California Telehealth Network.

Jasmine holds a bachelor's degree in international business from San Francisco State University and an MBA in data analytics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society. She also serves as a board member for the ConnectMaine Authority, the quasi-governmental fiscal agent supporting broadband infrastructure across Maine.
