Sasame Cintron, BA is a Nurse Recruiter who joined MedStar Georgetown in 2011, when her desire to give back to the community compelled her to leave her previous career in the legal industry. Sasame was drawn to MedStar Georgetown’s mission of cura personalis, or care of the whole person. She is passionate about growing the MedStar Georgetown team with nurses who drive our mission forward. As a responsive and organized full-cycle recruiter, she has a proven track record of building strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates. Sasame has hired student nurses into the externships and new graduate residencies that jumpstarted their nursing careers, recruited experienced nurses into new specialties and practice environments, and placed nursing leaders into challenging new roles. She is also working to improve the MedStar Georgetown recruitment process through her knowledge of data analytics. Sasame holds a BA in communications from Villanova University.
