We offer nonsurgical treatments as well as the most advanced and innovative surgical procedures, including total shoulder replacement surgery and reverse total shoulder replacement surgery.

- Shoulder Instability. Most cases respond well to conservative treatments involving intensive rehabilitation exercises and physical therapy to strengthen the muscles and help hold the shoulder in place. In cases where nonsurgical methods are unsuccessful, surgical options—including arthroscopic Bankart repair and coracoids transfer for shoulder instability—are explored.

Personal Trainer Aaron Smith soldiered through elbow pain for years when other doctors recommended treatments that didn’t offer much assurance. When he realized his client Ryan Jander, MD, specialized in elbow surgery, it was a serendipitous moment.

From the time of his first knee injury as a high school athlete, Joseph L. Ferguson, MD, DPT, knew he wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon. On his way to turning those early ambitions into reality, his original interest in medicine gradually shifted to a related discipline—physical therapy.
Meet Shauna: Non-opioid medication offered pain relief and a faster recovery following rotator cuff surgery
When Shauna Kreider found out that she would need surgery for a torn rotator cuff, her heart sank. She already had surgery on her other shoulder a year before and experienced intense pain for days after surgery, followed by a lengthy recovery.
Her surgeon, Carter Mitchell, MD, was pleased to tell Shauna he would use a non-opioid medication called Exparel® which would leave her pain-free for three days after surgery.
