About me
Dr. Sardana is a fellowship-trained, board-certified gastroenterologist with nearly two decades of experience treating the full range of digestive health concerns. He focuses on general gastroenterology, including the diagnosis and treatment of:

- Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- Liver disease
Dr. Sardana earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and completed his residency at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology (liver disease) at Allegheny Health Network Medical Education Consortium in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Sardana's approach to patient care is centered around open communication and shared decision-making. Understanding that there isn't always one "right answer" for each patient, he takes the time to explain treatment options clearly, empowering patients to make informed choices about their care. He believes that listening and educating patients is key to building a strong partnership in managing their health. With a passion for providing high-quality, personalized care, Dr. Sardana brings expertise and compassion to every patient encounter.
When he's not helping patients, Dr. Sardana enjoys exercising, spending time with his wife and two children, and traveling to new places. He values a healthy work-life balance and is committed to the well-being of his family and community.
