Amber Boler, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist with MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. She treats a broad range of cardiovascular conditions with a special interest in women’s cardiovascular health, cardio-oncology, and cardiac imaging. She is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and internal medicine.

Dr. Boler uses a holistic approach to preventing and managing heart disease. She integrates evidence-based medical therapies with lifestyle modification to guide treatment plans. She encourages and empowers her patients to take an active and informed role in managing their cardiovascular health.

Dr. Boler completed her medical degree at Ohio State University College of Medicine, where she graduated cum laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She then completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, followed by cardiology fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Boler is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a professional member of the American Society of Echocardiography, the American Heart Association, and the American College of Physicians. She is a passionate educator who enjoys teaching medical students and resident physicians.

Dr. Boler enjoys running, hiking, and weight lifting in her free time. She speaks conversational Spanish.
