Paul Singh, MD, MPH, FAHA, is the Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center and Neuroendovascular Surgery at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. MedStar Franklin Square was named a Comprehensive Stroke Center in 2023, the highest level of designation available by The Joint Commission and the Maryland Institute of EMS Systems (MIEMSS). Dr. Singh is a dual fellowship trained, board certified neurologist who specializes in Neuroendovascular Surgery and Vascular Neurology. He is dedicated to advancing the Neuroendovascular field while providing compassionate, patient-centered medical care to his patients.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Singh has become a leader in his field treating both arterial and venous strokes. He is accomplished in endovascular and minimally invasive treatments of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), dural arteriovenous fistulas, and other vascular diseases of the brain and spine. Dr. Singh has developed cutting-edge interventional techniques, and he has led multiple clinical research trials in stroke. His expertise has led to the development of multiple new stroke centers throughout the country.

Dr. Singh is an active member of multiple nationally-recognized societies, including the American Heart Association, Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery, and the Society of Vascular Interventional Neurology. He is also heavily involved in enhancing care for stroke patients across the state of Maryland by serving as the Vice Chair of the Maryland Institute of Emergency Medical Services Systems (MIEMSS) Stroke Quality Improvement Council. Dr. Singh is also an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery and Neurology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
