MedStar Health Video Visits

Scheduled Visits, Virtual Care

As part of MedStar Health’s commitment to providing agile care solutions during the unprecedented demands of COVID-19, we’re providing you with information about our telehealth platform.

MedStar Health Video Visits are designed to ease access to care for our patients.

  • Call your provider’s office or message your provider via the patient portal. Our team will schedule your visit just like we would a routine visit in the office.
  • Locate a new provider using MedStar Health’s Find a Doctor application.
  • To schedule an appointment for Physical Therapy, call 844-914-3878.

Note: Check with your health insurance on coverage for video visit services (sometimes called telehealth). With the COVID-19 pandemic, many insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid, offer some coverage of video visits and/or telehealth.

All MedStar Health providers can now see patients through video visits. If you are an existing MedStar Health patient, call your provider’s office to ask about MedStar Health Video Visits.

Patient Testimonials

"I sent my provider a message on the MedStar Health portal asking for advice on how to deal with a flare up of a known medical problem. Her office reached out to me within 15 minutes and asked if I was able to do a Video Visit in the next 10 minutes. I agreed, and within a few minutes received a text message and email with a link that brought me right into a video visit with my doctor! She was amazing (as always) and quickly determined the best course of action—sending prescriptions to my local pharmacy which I picked up—all told from reaching out via the portal to prescriptions in hand was less than 90 mins—amazing service by MedStar Health! I will definitely take advantage of video visits moving forward, it was easy and convenient."
