About me
Denise Marlatte is an experienced, certified doctorate nurse practitioner who treats patients with acute GI issues including IBS (diarrhea and constipation), gastroesophageal reflux disease, dysphagia (indigestion), eosinic esophagitis, and gallbladder disease, as well colon cancer screening. She sees patients at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Health at Lafayette Center.
She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice—Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.
NP Marlatte takes a holistic approach to caring for patients, ensuring she not only helps patients manage their condition, but that they are also educated about their condition and the impact it can have on their overall health so they can be active partners in their care.
When she’s not working, she enjoys outdoor activities including kayaking and paddleboarding and spending time with her dog.
