About me
Stacey T. Martindale, MD, MBA, FACS, is a fellowship-trained general surgeon specializing in general and minimally invasive surgical procedures. She has expertise in abdominal surgery, hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, lipoma, cyst, and skin mass excisions, bowel resection, appendectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and other minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques.
Dr. Martindale previously served as the Trauma ICU Director and trauma surgeon at Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA. She earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)/New Jersey Medical School and completed her general surgery residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. She further specialized in surgical critical care through a fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Martindale believes in a patient-centered approach, working closely with each individual to develop a personalized treatment plan. She understands that medical decisions can be overwhelming and prioritizes clear communication, guidance, and reassurance. “I work in partnership with my patients to create a treatment plan we both feel comfortable with.
