Meet Marcia McNeil, a cancer patient who is living proof that the odds can in fact be beaten. Marcia was shocked when a mass the size of a grapefruit was detected in her liver. Her team of care providers at MedStar Health gently explained that the tumor was cancerous, and unfortunately, life-threatening. Despite her difficult prognosis, Marcia kept her chin up, her smile turned on, and spirits high. She trusted her doctors and pursued the aggressive treatment plan they recommended, which included multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and eight sessions of CyberKnife treatment. The plan worked.
