Ryan Cisek, MA, LAT, ATC joined MedStar Sports Medicine in 2012. He is a full time physician extender with the physicians of MedStar Harbor Hospital Sports Medicine and Shoulder Center: Dr. Leigh Ann Curl, Dr. Milford Marchant, and Dr. Jeffrey Mayer.
Prior to this position, he was the Head Athletic Trainer at Arundel High School in Anne Arundel County for two years. He also served as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Major League Lacrosse Chesapeake Bayhawks for four years.
Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Salisbury University and a graduate degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University. His previous experience also includes The San Francisco 49ers, Stanford University football and men’s volleyball, and Johns Hopkins University football and baseball.
Ryan has a special interest in concussion management and education. Ryan and his wife Rebecca love spending their free time taking their two daughters on fun adventures.
